CJ is a very knowledgable, focused and aware intern. He provided answers to our team quickly and was engaged with all team members on assigned and critical tasks. While I only worked with CJ over the summer months, I was impressed with his ability to communicate, work through technical details and provide key answers rapidly. He will be top level contributor in any technical organization.
I can't praise CJ enough, he is an outstanding individual. Few interns, if any, have impressed me the way that CJ has. He is intelligent, well-rounded, reliable, hardworking, easy to get along with, an excellent teammate, and a great communicator. He pours his focus into new work with intensity and enthusiasm and quickly comes out the other side with total mastery. His future is so bright you need a welding helmet to look at it!
Working with CJ in the UDRI Fuel Science group, I have been impressed by his ability to tackle open-ended challenges with thoroughness and confidence. CJ's first project was figuring out how to use SimDis Expert software to calculate simulated distillation for jet fuel samples. He not only got the software working, but he also validated the results and put together a 36-slide operating procedure which will be valuable for our team in the future. CJ is currently working on a project studying jet fuel dielectric constant as it relates to onboard aircraft fuel gauging. He has effectively communicated with multiple members of our team to gather insights and ensure alignment with our customer's needs. Anyone looking for an adaptable and collaborative professional would be lucky to have CJ on their team!
I had the opportunity to work alongside him while he was in a different department, and he consistently stood out for his positive attitude and strong work ethic. He brought an upbeat energy to the workplace and approached every task with focus and professionalism. He is a sharp individual and an excellent communicator, able to clearly convey ideas and collaborate effectively with others. He was always a dependable team player who contributed to a productive and respectful work environment. During his time as a Tech Service Co-op, he showed a willingness to take on any challenge that came his way. He was proactive in asking questions and never hesitated to seek clarification to ensure the job was done right. That level of accountability and commitment made him someone you could rely on.
